A Day at Walt Disney World: Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios is an iconic park at Disney World, with attractions like the Tower of Terror, Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular, and the new Star Wars Galaxy's Edge. This day takes me on a whirlwind of some of my favourite and scariest rides as well as fantastic souvenirs and classic characters.

Starting off with the scariest ride of the entire trip (in my opinion) The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Drop rides are one of the few rides which I want to avoid, but of course, being in Disney World, you can't say no as it's not something you do every day. Safe to say I won't be posting the photo of my screams on here. What types of attractions do you fear most?

Tower of Terror

Most of this blog will focus on the newest part of Hollywood Studios Galaxy's Edge. As an avid Star Wars fan for a long time, I loved every moment of this 'world within a world.' The details were fantastic, right down to the graffiti on the walls and pipes and dents on the LIFE SIZE Millennium Falcon.

The attraction next to the Millennium Falcon was the Smugglers Run, an interactive ride where you work in 'teams' to fly the Falcon and aim to steal a shipment of coaxium. This ride was fantastic, so we went on it a few times. The details in the cockpit were awesome, so any fan would feel like they are in their very own Star Wars Film.

Jedi Mind Trick Cocktail in Oga's Cantina

Oga's Cantina in Galaxy's Edge was one of the highlights of the day. There were a good variey of Star Wars themed drinks and food platters. I enjoyed a jedi mind trick, a drink with grapefruit and rose botanical vodka. The well known Cantina Band song was playing while you enjoy your $20 cocktail surrounded by awesome decor.

I you want to try to make the pictured cocktail click here!
