What to bring on a trip to Florida Theme Parks
In this blog, I will guide you through all the essential items you might want to bring with you and wear so you have the best experience at the Florida theme parks - Walt Disney World, Seaworld, Universal, and beyond!
To start off, I think there are 4 core things that every visitor should have:
1. comfortable trainers or sandals
2. a refillable water bottle
3. SUNCREAM
4. your favourite pair of ears or wearable merch!
Let's start off with comfortable footwear. When you go to Florida theme parks, the days are long, hot, and tiring. All four Disney parks (EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood, Studios, and Magic Kingdom) are very big with lots of ground to cover. Comfy shoes will make you feel so much better when you have been walking about for 6hrs in 35 degrees! When I went in September, I brought 3 types of shoes: trainers, crocs, and sports sandals. I think it's a good idea to bring multiple changes of shoes to let them air out in between days, this is healthy for your feet!
I would strongly recommend taking a lightweight hat such as a bucket or baseball cap and good sunglasses to give your eyes and face a break from the strong sun. Also, pack a lightweight shirt or coverup to help stop your skin from getting burned after many hours in the sun.

When picking a bag to bring to Florida parks it's a good idea to consider what you might want to bring? Suncream, shirt or cover-up, water bottle, battery pack, and wallet. Also essential to stick your favourite key chain onto your bag, which helps it stay recognisable, especially if your bag is black like mine. I chose to bring a North Face Borealis Mini, it is more expensive at £60, but it is well made, has plenty of pockets, and is safely accessible, but most importantly it's waterproof. I found this to be invaluable, if you are caught in a downpour or even getting soaked on water rides your belongings stay dry.
